Established in the year 1977, Bangalore South Lok Sabha Constituency is a constituency in the state of Karnataka, India. Karnataka has 28 Lok Sabha seats, and Bangalore South is one of them. And as of 2019, there are 2215533 registered voters in the parliamentary constituency. Tejasvi Surya of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is the current MP for the constituency. In the 2024 Indian General Election Tejasvi Surya won the Lok Sabha seat by defeating Sowmya Reddy of the Indian National Congress.
