Established in the year 1952, Varanasi Lok Sabha Constituency is a constituency in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. Uttar Pradesh has 80 Lok Sabha seats, and Varanasi is one of them. And as of 2024, there are 1854542 registered voters in the parliamentary constituency. Narendra Modi of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)) is the current MP for the constituency. In the 2024 Indian General Election Narendra Modi won the Lok Sabha seat by defeating Ajay Rai of the Indian National Congress(INC).
