The Mukhyamantri Sikho Kamao Yojana was launched by the former chief minister, Shivraj Singh Chauhan. The Mukhyamantri Sikho Kamao Yojana was launched for the youth who are unemployed. Through this scheme, educated unemployed youth will be given skill training to create employment opportunities. The unemployed and educated youth do not have to pay any fees for the skill training. The training will be free of charge, and a stipend of Rs 8,000 to Rs 1000 per month will be given. And the state government will bear 75 percent of the stipend money, and the rest 25 percent will be given by the institute or industry under which the youth is taking training. As per the qualifications of the unemployed youth, the training will be provided by the private and government sectors present in the state.

The main purpose of the Sikho Kamao Yojana was to increase the skills of the youth and to give jobs to the unemployed educated youth. Through this scheme, the unemployed educated youth will be provided skill training and a stipend of Rs 8,000 to Rs 10,000 per month. And after the training is over, jobs will be given to the youth. This scheme was launched by the state government under the Skill Development and Employment Generation Board. The training is given for one year and will be given as per their skills by different private and government institutes in the state.

The unemployed youth of the state of Madhya Pradesh can apply for the Sikho Kamao Yojana by following the below steps.

• Visit the official website, which is mmsky.mp.gov.in.
• Then click on “अभ्यर्थीपंजीयन” at the top of the homepage.
• You will be redirected to a new page, which is mmsky.mp.gov.in/Web/Candidate/Registration.
• Read all the guidelines provided in the above page and click on the checkbox “मैंनेयोजनाकाअवलोकनकरलियाहैऔरमैंइसयोजनाकीपात्रतारखता/रखतीहूँ |” and press “आगेबढ़े”
• Enter your Samagra ID and the captcha, then click on “सत्यापितकरें”.
• Then you have to verify yourself with the help of the OTP
• After the verification, the application form will appear on the screen.
• Then you have to fill out all the required information, click on the checkbox, and click on submit.
• At last, you will get your login ID and password to login to the portal.
